help with names kanyasi.kiss .kerekes my grandparents were emeric kiss and clara kanyasi born in 1896 and 1897.they were married in 1917 in tiszaszederkeny.borsod.hungary.reformed church.my mother was born in the same town in 1925 ethel(etelka)kiss.my great grandparents were joszef kanyasi and julianna kerekes.my grand parents went to usa in 1932 and 1938.clara had a sisters barbara (married name sabo) and rozalia (married name olah) thank-you maxine

I have Kányási great grandparents. He was born in Tiszaszederkény 12. 12. 1878. Hes brother Jozsef Kányási he was born 15 08 1885, and Piroska 27 09 1883 and Sámuel 08 12 1891 and, Károly 08 09 1894.Ther parents Mihály Kányási and Judit Torjai (or Tornya?).
Maybe, this isn't your family, but I will go to Mezőcsát, wher I would see your great grandperants born date and married date.

Szia Kata!

Tiszaszederkényben két Kányási család élt, úgy az 1753-as évek kezdetek óta. Az egyiket alsó a másikat felső Kányásiaknak hívták. Nem tudom mennyire vagy benne a családkutatásban, de jó lenne tudni, hogy mikor született pl:Kányási Károly, mert az én dédnagymamámnak volt többek között Béla, Piroska, Károly, Mihály nevű testvére (őt Lídiának hívták). Dédnagyanyám Károly nevű testvére 1905. december 12-én született Kányási Mihály és Varga Lídia gyermekeként Tiszaszederkényben.

Tudsz még valamit a felmenőidnek ezen ágáról?
