G-father was born in Medina (Tolna), Hungary: May 1878. Midwife at his birth has been translated as EVA TOT (TOTH). Magyarized on the ship manifest as GYORGY KOSZICS – my g-father came to America in November 1904 with his nephew VUKALOVITS. 	bonnieguerra: Benke, Kocsis Family I am looking for any information on the Benke name and Kocsis name. I am trying to get info. about Helena Aurelia Benke, which is the only sibling of my dad Stephen Benke. Their parents names are: Julia Benke(Nemeth) and Stephen(American spelling)Benke. They was born in Hungary. Vas? Helena was born May, 1918. Her parents was born in (Julia)1901 and (Stephen)1890 in Hungary. Julia parents was Gyorgy Kocsis and Mari Kocsis(Nemeth). Gyorgy was born in 1871 and died in 1927 and Mari was born in 1882 and died in 1943. I do know Julia came to USA in 1913. I have included a picture of Helena that was taken in 1928. If anyone knows anything about these people I would greatly appreciate the information. Oh, I do know that Gyorgy and Mari did have 11 children but don't know all the names. The names I do know is Anna Kocsis b.1900 d.1956 Of course Julia and then Helen(Ilona)Kocsis b.1913 d.2003. Also know or been told that alot of the children died at a very very young age. 	Kate: Koches Am looking for info on my grandfather, John Puga Koches (Kocsis). According to his WWI draft registration he was born 31 july 1891 in NagyGalambfalva, Hungary. We are not sure when he came to America but on October 3 1914 he married my grandmother Rose Miller (Milay). He died in the flu epidemic in 1918 when my father was 3 years old.
