The old 1910 Hungarian megye map is at : http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 click on Maros megye to locate Mezobergenye ( in yellow) West of Maros Vasarhely and it seems it is now in Romania. http://www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/loctown.htm is good locator when the name of a town is from the old regime. www.genealogienetz.de/reg/ESE/dsinfo.htm www.genealogy.ro www.genealogy.ro/Contributions.htm www.genealogy.ro/cont22.htm The Romanian phone site is at : www.whitepages.ro and the name LORINCZY lists in town of Bucuresti's, Baia Mare's, Sighetu Marmatiei's phone book. Just a few I looked into. The LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) have filmed several European countries church records so check their website for possible films. Look over Ellis Island manifests. 	guest: Re: Lorinczy,Rozalia b. 1887 My grandmother's name was Rozalia Lorinczy. My last name is Lorinczy. My Grandfather is Zoltan Lorinczy. They defected to the United States in the 1950's. She was born in the early 1900's however. I don't know if there is any relation. 	zoltan lorinczy: Re: Lorinczy,Rozalia b. 1887 I am Zoltan Lorinczy my mother was Rozalia Lorinczy and my father was Zoltan Lorinczy. We came to the U.S in 1956. It is a long story which I don't have time or space right now. My cousin is Jentzi Lorinczy. He should be fairly well know. He is a doctor in Law and an attorney in Budapest. I have been trying to get ahold of him myself. Dad passed away in 1998 and Mom passed in 2000. She was born in 1930. My father's name was also Zoltan Lorinczy. We came from Soroksar which is an outskirt of Budapest.
