	stephenj: Malcsitzky We recently found my grandfather's sisters birth certificate from Mariapocs, Hungary. Our name is now Melchiskey, but we've always known the name was changed in the US. Now we know that our family name was Malcsitzky. 	Martin Just for an information, the name Malcicky (Malczitsky) is surely of Slovak origin. It seems the bearer comes from the village Malcice. Malcicky means "the man from Malcice" equivalent of German "von Malcice". 	Mancsi: Re: Malcsitzky Helló! Tudomásom szerint a néhai Apámnak (Lászlő) volt egy István nevű testvére, amolyan "fekete bárány" volt az 50-es években.
