He was married to Barbara (Tiebor) He came to the US in 1907. He lived the rest of his life in Bloomington, Illinois. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Marksteiner is a very rare name in Hungary, and most of them are still in the same region, were my grandfather was born. So i think they are all our relatives. Maybe if you can send a family tree, i can show it to my grandfather. His father was emigrated to the US when my grandfather was about 6-8 years old (~in 1922-1924). Since he left the country the family didn't hear about him anymore but I assume that he married again in the States. If anyone knows about his roots from Arad (Hungary / Romania) with the name of Marksteiner, please contact me. We assume - based on US census records) that both their parents came from Sankt Anna.
