bojec: Nemes from Liptovske Beharovce

Searching for descents/relatives - Nemes family from "Beharfalu".
The eldest ancestor (yet) is Anton (Antal) Nemes, b. cca 1796 who married Terezia Urban, b. cca 1797. Their children were Zuzana Ludovika, Vendelin Pavol, Anton Matej, Anton and Janos. Vendelin married Johanna Andahazy in Nov 1850, Anton married Amalia Urban in Nov 1855, Janos married Zuzana Allman in July 1863. Vendelin & Johanna had 5 children, Maria, Lajos, Terezia, Amalia and Mikulas Ambros. Mikulas moved first to Budapest, then to Trnava (Nagyszombat), where died.
I collected another 5 sides of Nemes families from L.B. and still searchig any connections, informations, photos,...etc.

A levélben szereplő címer a Nemessányi családé 1800 körül
valamilyen okból Nemes Sámuel is ezt a címert használta.
A behárfalvi Nemes címerben oroszlán szerepel, jobb lábával
kivont kardot tart.

I have a Basil NEMES born 1817 who married Julianna VAJDA in Udvari, Szatmar in 1835. Their daughter, Flora NEMES was born in Udvari, Szatmar in 1854.

I also have a Janos NEMES born 1818 in Udvari, Szatmar, married to Maria VONYIGA.

Can anyone connect to eirth of these NEMES families from Szatmar?

Further to my earlier message, the following is all the data I have on my father's family. I am trying to trace if there are any living relatives.

Your grandfather, Fikner János was born on 25.05.1915 in Ács.
His mother was Palakovics Mária and his father was Fikner
István .
He married on 27.10.1937 Nemes Aranka , who was born on
09.01.1908 in Nyúlhegy Nyúl village approx 10km SW from Győr city in NW Hungary>. We do not have
further data about her.

Furthermore, we found Your parental grandfather's sister Fikner
Margit as well. She was born on 30.04.1910 in Ács. Her
mother: Palakovics Mária , her father Fikner István
.
She married Horváth Károly in 1939 and died in 1970 in
Szőny. .
They probably had only one son: Horváth Károly born in
1950 and died in 1993 without descendants.

Any help on the above would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you. Would you know anything about them or how I would be able to find out more? I got a letter back from the Registrar of Nyul village saying that my grandmother was living in that Győrujbarát village but they could not give me an exact address or any data of her relatives. I don't know how to proceed from here.

Your welcome Jane.
You can send a letter to the FIKNERs that show up in Gyor's phone book. You can go thru the church records to locate ancestral information. I do not find FIKNERs listed in Gyorujbarat but that could mean that the family opted for a removal of house phone and have a cell phone. You can also send a letter to Gyorujbarat to the town hall. NEMES does list in Gyorujbarat.
Not related and not in Hungary.

Sajnos nehéz egy ilyen rövid informátiót felhasználni,mert ha lett volna a NEMES elödjének elöneve a keresés nem jelent nehézséget azonban igy nem használható.De Öseim éltek Erdélyben,a Lugosi,,a váradi,aszereversztényi,
szeremujlaki.temesvári,dobay,hosszuaszói,és gyéresi Pribék család,ezekböl is láthatja milyen fontos az elöneve a családoknak.

I am looking for ancestors to my great-grandfather Gabor Salamon of Rigacs. His parents were Barbara Nemes Salamon, b.~1850, and Franz (or Ferenc) Salamon, b.~1850. Gabor emigrated to Steelton, PA, USA in 1913 with his wife and daughter, and claimed to have a brother James Salamon living in Rigacs.

Please note that birth dates are VERY approximate! I would appreciate any help or guidance, Thanks.

Halló! A behárfalvi Nemes család ősrégi Liptó vármegyei nemesi család, kiknél a család egyik ága Korcsek néven is ismeretes volt. A Korcsek családot pedig őseink közé soroljuk.

A hidvégi Nemes grófok Pest-Pilis-Solt megyében is laktak. Áll még egy kastély Kunszentmiklós mellett Felsőszenttamáson amelyet Nemes Nándor gróf cs. és k. ezredes építetett. Solton is áll egy kúriájuk.
