	brent gregory: Re: pinke surname thank you...i was aware of her arrival time and where (i have a copy of the manifest)..her name was katharine (but I'm sure since the info was taken orally...that in hungarian dialect that it came out "Katalin"...she came with another woman with the last name of Gyori (she's the next name on the manifest) both were headed to Niles, OH, but I can't make out the exact location (maybe frist house?)...i'd like to know more about from whence she came...etc....it's a bit of a mystery (i don't know the names of her parents...)...if you find out anymore let me know....thank you again so very much brent		2008/08/30, 00:40:52 #: 2008081236 válasz erreszerkesztés moderálandó? profil

No problem with the Hungarian dialect as the shipping clerk was taking down the information from a document the ancestor presented. first name site: http://www.progenealogists.com/hungary/names.htm She was going to an acqu. BAKO Ferencz, Frist House corner Fleacs (sp?), Niles, O GYORI Katalin is a sis - sister of Katalin The Tolnanemedi's church records should provide names of her parents. Possible that her SS-5Form or her naturalization petition might contain names of her parents. PINKE Janos from Tolnanem...going to acqu. BAKO Ferencz, Corner Fleary Str. Niles, O. He most likely related to Katalin. Did find GYORE and GYORI in Tolnanemedi's phone book. www.magyartelekom.hu/fooldal.vm PINKE list in good numbers in Hungary. 	bmace420: Igar I have just found that my great grandmother was born in Igar, Fejer Megye...I am wondering if there is anyone who can tell me the best way to find out more information and where from in Igar..or the closest town/village. My great-grandmother was Katalin Pinke. Her father was Joszef Pinke, mother was Julianna Csokas. She had 2 brothers (Janos and Joszef) and 2 sisters (Irene and ????)...her last place of residence was Tolnanemedi.
