| lynnbishop: Püspök Istvan from Sombor | | My father, Püspök Istvan, son Püspök Istvan and Bodoni Borbála, was born in Sombor, Bács-Bodrog Magye, Austria-Hungary on 17 August 1890; his brother Püspök Jozsef, was born in 1891. The parents were divorced in approximately 1895. Jozsef came to the USA in 1905, possibly with his aunt and uncle; they all changed their surname to either Püspöki or Püspöky. My father Istvan emigrated from Budapest to America in 1908 and changed his name to Steve Bishop. The brothers never saw each other again.
