Do you know about Ancestry and Genforum boards?
Hi Zlatica
Thanks for the updates.
Yes I do know about Ancestry and genforums but have not been able to find any info as of yet. I am still new at that.
Would you know how I could obtain a birth certificate for my uncle who was born 1925 in Sarospatak, Hungary but is living in Canada?
Have you posted a query on those boards. Lot of knowledgable people on the boards.
Are there any family left in Sarospatak that could get you your uncle's birth certificate? Might be the cheapest way to go. Another one to try is Hungary's Embassy and sending a request to the town / church in Sarospatak.
