Thank you so much for taking the time to write! Gömör county is really quite close to Szépes county, where my Répászky ancestors are originally from. From there they moved to Kosice, and then eventually some of them found their way to the United States.
On another ancestral line, my great-great-grandfather's sister married into the Kiszely family who owned a large french pastry shop in Budapest. If you happen to come across a mention of such a place, I'd be grateful if you could let me know!
I hope to keep tracing my Répászky roots back as far as I can, and it is quite possible that either yours will lead back to Szépes or mine will lead back to Gömör, and so we should keep in touch. I promise to let you know if I come across anything on the Répászky family name in the places you mentioned.
