There was a Sajovits family in Munkacs that owned a brickyard. Wondering if Dora's family was related. My maternal grandfather, Eugene Fuchs, was from Eperjes/Presov. His father, Adolf, also owned a brickyard.. Though Eugene and Dora married in the United States, I'm wondering if there might have been a connection between the two families.
Also, family information says that Adolf may have been an American citizen who returned to Slovakia. Is there any way of finding this information. It would have been around 1893. |
