| Grandpa's girl: Re: Sepos lineage | | Hi Kathleen! I just stumbled across this site on a whim, and was excited to see your posting. I am missing my grandfather, and curious to locate his family. His parents were George and Agnes (Farkas)Sepos, who my Mom believes were originally from Budapest. They were proprietors of a large restaurant, purported to be a very large business in it's day. My grandfather's name was Peter Sepos. He was born May 9, 1914, in Dayton, OH. He had an older sister named Elizabeth, a younger brother named Joseph, and another younger sister named Helen. My Mom says that their name of Sepos was originally Sipos, but was changed when they came to the U.S. Oddly enough, my Grandpa George worked for the railroad in Bay City, Michigan, where he died while on duty in a train accident. If you have any information on my family, please send it along to me. I am excited that perhaps we have more family. Isn't it wonderful how God puts us in just the right place, in the right frame of mind, at the very moment that He requires us to be? Thanks, and God bless you and your family! |
