	jroysdon: Staub & Keller Hello, I am searching for relatives who might know the history of the Staub and Keller families. My Grandmother, Marie Keller Staub, died April 1929 in Veszprem County. She was at her parents farm with sons Anton and William and daughter Catherine Staub. Hope to hear from someone who could give me a few hints as to where to start my search in Hungary. 	jroysdon: Re: Staub/keller Hello, Let me make some correction to the previous request. Lenard Staub is the son of Barbara Schweder and John Staub. He was born in Veszprem Co. and married Maria Keller, daughter of Anna Maria Frank and Jakob (Jacob) Keller. The story given to her descendents says Maria Keller Staub returned to Hungary to help her mother work the farm. The three children she took with her, all born in USA, were Leonard, Catherine, and Wilhelm Staub. Two of the children returned to USA before Maria Keller Staub's death, the third child, Wilhelm returned in 1929. These children are all deceased. I am the daughter of Maria and Lenard's fifth child who was born in USA. My mother did not travel to Hungary with her mother. Maria Keller Staub took only her three youngest children. 	staub: Re: Staub/keller hello, you're welcome:) let me summarise the facts I know, and please tell me if something isn't right. your grandfather's name was Lénárd Staub (his parents Barbara Schweder & János Staub), your grandmother Keller Mária (daughter of Anna Mária Keller & Jákob Keller). your grandparents had minimum 4 children, your mother (what's her name?), Lénárd, Katalin and Vilmos. you said your grandmother returned to Hungary - when did she left the country? were all her children born in the US? what's the name of the other children? I have to know this things, because there is hardly nobody, who lived before 1929 and could remember to your grandmother and her family. 	jroysdon: Keller/Staub Hello, I don't know what happened, but I did reply. Maybe the message was too long. I will try again.. Anna Maria Frank married Jakob Keller. 2 children, Katalin and Maria (my grandmother) Keller. Katalin married Antal Ulrich 30 Jan 1894. When Katalin died, Antal remarried. Maria Keller married Lenard Staub, son of Jonas Staub and Barbara Schweder. Two sons, Ferenes and Anton, and two daughters, Maria and Franciska, were born to Maria and Lenard in Varoslod. Two of Lenard's brothers had gone to America. Lenard Staub went to America in 1901. Maria Staub and her 4 children went to American in 1904. 2 sons and 2 daughters were born to Maria and Lenard Staub in America. One of these daughters, Rose, is my mother. The other three children return to Hungary with Maria Staub in 1921. Leonard Staub, Jr. returned to America in 1927; Catherine Staub returned to America in 1928. Wilhelm Staub returned to America in 1929. Maria Keller Staub died in Varoslod 12 April 1929. Lenard Staub died in America 31 March 1929. Lenard's brothers died in America. We believe Anna Maria Frank Keller died in Varoslod between 1940 and 1950. We think she left the farm to Antal Ulrich, her son-in-law, because she had no living children. We have been told that the farm was small when she died because she had been giving parts of it to the Catholic church. All of these people were Catholics. Are they buried in a local Catholic cemetery? If so, which one? Does anyone remember a farm once owned by the Frank, Keller of Ulrich families? I hope this message gets to you this time. 	Tony: Re: Keller/Staub Not sure if anything will help but my grandmothers name was Maria Keller from Hungary and my grandfather's name was Antal Holzhauser from Varoslod, Hungary. My grandfather came to Canada in 1930 and went back to Hungary to marry my grandmother and then came back to Canada in 1935. Az üzenethez ez a kép is kapcsolódik.
