My Grandparents, the late Roman, survived by Anna Szlapak came to the US in the 1940's. They had seven children, two sons who in turn each had three boys; all carrying the name Szlapak. There are other cousins, children of the daughters who do not carry the name but are related nonetheless. My grandparents came from the Ukraine, spent time in Germany (not very pleasant) and settled in Buffalo, NY where most of the family resides. However my brother Mike is in Columbus, Ohio and I just moved to Denver, Colorado. Carolina was the wife of Minas Prelicz in Gurahumorului.Michael was born 19.11.1804 in Uscieczko and died 15.2.1871 in Gurahumorului . His parents were Johannes Szlapak and Anna Szmerdij. 	razman: Szlapak My father Yehudah Szlapak was born in Poland in Dec 1911. He moved to Isreal in the early thirties. He left his family behind and married by mom Sarah and they had 2 kids, Chaim and Raziel Szlapak. Since Yehudah died in 1991,I never found out what ever happened to any of my fathers relatives. I was hoping I could find some info.
