You can research Vital records on microfilms at LDS/FHLC (Mormons): http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp
Tiszaszalka had Reformed Calvinist Church only, the R.Cath. and Gr.Cath. Records are under Kopocsapati, today called Aranyosapati:
1764-1895 Reformed Church register of births, marriages and deaths for Tiszaszalka.
1780-1895 Roman Catholic parish register of births, marriages and deaths for Kopócsapáthi (later called Kopócsapáti), later was combined with Bácsaranyos to form Aranyosapáti.
1809-1895 Greek Catholic Church register of births, marriages and deaths for Bácsaranyos, includes Kopócsapáthi (later called Kopócsapáti). Later they were combined to form Aranyosapáti.
Civil Records started in 1895, Tiszaszalka is not listed yet at LDS, when you establish contact with them ask when will be done.
