	Denis: Family information Hello! I am living in Canada and I would like to know more about my family name. Is Váczi an old name? Are there many people with the name Váczi nowadays in Hungary? If so, are they concentrated in any specific area? If my father is Hungarian, could I be an Hungarian citizen too? Sorry if I am asking too many questions at the same time, I am just curious.. Yours is the city of Va'c(Va'cz is the old name), north from Budapest on the east bank of Danube river. This type of surnames for the general population started around 15th-16th century. 	erdospal: geszti Váczi család Kedves Andrea (Attila?)! Itt Geszt községben élt valamikor Váczi Bálint, nem tudom ki lehetett, mert nagyon régen meghalt már, de volt egy tanyája, ezt a tanyát megvette Váczi Antal, másik Váczi család tagja. Váczi Antalnak két gyereke volt Erika és Antal, aki sajnos már meghalt. Geszt községben 1777 óta élnek Váczi nevűek. Most ennyi jut eszembe, de még keresek valamit majd.
