You know that you will need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.

Do you know what language he spoke? Have you looked in any census? What religion was your Paul WALIGURA / Pavol VALIGURA?
Usually the naturalization certificate gives only personal information like height, weight etc. The naturalization petition should have at least 3 pieces of forms.
Take a look in Ellis Island website for the surnames.
Your ancestor might have come thru Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia, Galveston, Castle Garden or Canada's port. |
