I took on a challenge of finding my Wittchen cousin's kin. In November I came to the site and you helped me with the name of the city and country, history and general description of the area. Then you led me to the Telephone Director, English version.
I found two Wittchens in Kezmarok and Smolnik and wrote letters in English to both. They both responded and are both related to my cousins. Pictures have been exchanged and the world is now a little smaller for the Wittchen family on both side of the pond
Yesterday microfilms for the Evangelical Church in Szepes Bela arrived at the local LDS Family History Center, and I have reviewed the first one. Thanks for directing me to the site with the BMD forms translation. Big help.
