| Wendy: Re: Zelesnakova/Zeleneskova | hit a "dead end" as I have three families (one mine!) claiming the SAME
relative as a direct ancestor. There are records of this person having
two different wives, and unfortunately, the dates don't work out for
them to possibly be correct! In other words, they either had to be two
different people, or there is some mis-information in one of the family
trees.
I suspect that one branch of the family came from one known brother
(born in 1796) and the other from the other known brother (born 1794)
of the same parents but I have not been able to prove this.
The difficult part to believe is that there could be two couples with
the same exact names, whose wives both had a single child with the
same name, born on the same day, month and year! It really isn't
possible.
And I have traced church records in Iglo and I can only find ONE family
and ONE birth on that day and another birth 2 years later of a second
male child. One child is named Joannes and the other is Joannes, both
with the same first initial "J".
It is a mystery that keeps me, my cousins and other distant relatives
busy!
