I am looking for any relatives from Kamienka, Slovakia. Most of my relatives immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1890's or early 1900's. Looking for Herzak or Zima.

i have just started my research but, i have a good bit of information. i can trace back a little further back 1830's.
my great-great grandfather was nikoli zima born 1835. please let me know if we are able to help each other.

My great grandfather was also Nikoli Zima. Don't know when he was born, but he died in 1897. I have most of the information for this (my father's) side of the family. He married Martha Selep.

I am looking for Zima family on my mother's side. They were from Kamienka also but not relatives. Looking for Petro & Marija Zima who had a daughter Marija who was born about 1888.

Yes, I am looking for my grandfather George "Juro" Herzsak from Kamienka/Kamjonka. He came to America about 1902-1904. He had at least one sister, Esther, but I don't know anything else about his family.

Did you go thru the Kamienka church records for ancestral information?
HERZAK does come up in Kamienka's phone book.
